Blowout Hairstyle in Five Minutes

I love this five-minute blowout hairstyle hack! It looks like I spent an hour on my hair when it actually only takes five minutes! This is seriously the easiest thing ever!
Your hair does have to be dry first…I usually shower at night and dry my hair before I go to bed, so it’s ready to roll in the morning. I’ve found that if I go to bed with my hair wet, it looks greasy in the morning.
Curling Irons:

I use a 1-inch barrel when I do this, but a 3/4-inch to 1& 1/4-inch barrel would work just fine. And honestly, you can use whatever you have!
I was a die-hard HotTools fan for years! My last curling iron lasted me at least 5 years, and I used it until it literally fell apart. They are great curling irons and way cheaper than they used to be! This one is less than $30!

But, I’ve recently tried the T3 interchangeable iron with the 1″ barrel and I love it! The barrel is longer than most so it curls my long hair better, which is great for you girls with long hair, and my curls will last a few days.
Five Minute Blowout Hairstyle:
- Start with dry hair

- Put Your Hair in a high ponytail

- Section your hair (depending on how thick it is) I usually do 5 or 6 sections.

- Curl each section (If I’m feeling fancy I’ll pin the curls while they cool).
- Spray curls with hairspray

- Take out of the ponytail, flip head over, and shake/comb out curls with your fingers
- Voila!

*Sometimes I have to touch-up around my face with my straightener because I have some wild little curls around my face*
*My favorite hairspray ever is the Bed Head Masterpiece, but sadly it gets a pretty bad score on EWG’s Skin Deep guide at a 7 (on a scale from 1-10, 10 being the worst). Hairspray is a lot like sunscreen, it’s hard to find one that works well and is non-toxic. Paul Mitchells Fast Drying Sculpting Spray scored a 2 which was the highest any hair spray scored, and it gets great reviews!
I hope you love your new hairstyle hack! Let me know how it works for you and if you have any other hair tips or tricks!
Thanks for stopping by!

Mollie
