The Best Clean Skincare Brand and Products

A few years ago when we started dealing with infertility I started paying attention to the ingredients in my skincare products (and everything else). I stumbled upon the brand Dime Beauty and it is a great clean skincare line. I think they were fairly new at the time with just their core products, but they have since really expanded their products. I have tried a bunch of their stuff and haven’t found something I don’t like, but today I’m going to share my three go-to products.

I’m sure if you follow any influencers on Instagram, you’ve heard about Dime Beauty. Especially their lash serum. And I’m here to say that the brand is really worth the hype. They offer great quality clean products at a very reasonable price! One of my favorite things they do on their website is they list the EWG rating for each ingredient in the product. And all are 1s and 2s (read more about what this means and why you should care).

So… what are my three favorite products? * fyi this is not a sponsored post, I just really love these products*

Wonderscreen

My first go-to product is Wonderscreen. Levi and I did an Ancestry DNA test a few years back and mine came back as 58% Irish 42% Scottish… that’s it. So if I don’t use sunscreen I turn a nice shade of red. Dime sunscreen is 30 spf with 19% zinc, so you are super protected. But it’s not the kind of zinc that leaves your face pasty white. It blends in really well, and I actually think my skin looks better after I apply it. Sometimes it’s all I wear.

Sunscreen is one of those things that it’s been pounded into us that we have to use, but it can also be LOADED with nasty chemicals. As far as the EWG rating goes for Wonderscreen, all the ingredients are 1s. Which is impressive… if you have ever tried to find a clean sunscreen it is NOT easy! I feel so comfortable with it I use it on Krew.

Super Firm Serum

The Super Firm Serum is a newer product for me, but I have really loved it! My eyes are my biggest problem area as I have gotten older. The fine lines around my eyes really bother me. So much so I have definitely thought about Botox, but I’m just not there yet.

This product works both immediately effects and ones you can see with consistent use. It has helped smooth out the fine lines around my eyes. I obviously still have some when I smile, but overall I do think it has made a difference! And all of the ingredients are rated a 2 or less.

Hyaluronic Acid Serum

Keeping your skin moisturized is key, and the Hyaluronic Acid Serum is a powerhouse of moisture. It can hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water and will also draw humidity from the air to keep moisturizing over time. This serum absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave your skin feeling sticky like some do.

My skin looks overall healthier when using it. I use it after the Super Firm Serum but before my moisturizer. It only contains four ingredients and all are a 2 or higher on the EWG scale.

The Works

The Works Bundle is a good way to get all your clean skincare must haves. It contains the cleanser, toner, vitamin C serum, hyaluronic acid serum, day moisturizer and night moisturizer. I have loved using the whole line because it feels good on my skin, the products work, they are clean, and I think the brand is very reasonably priced. Plus they have a lot of great sales!

I really don’t think you can go wrong with anything from Dime Beauty. I have yet to be disappointed with any of their products. And you can rest assured that you are not putting some gross chemicals on your skin!
